Drive-thru Flu Shots! Oh Goodie!

We went for an old people's outing today.
We found a road side farmer's market.
Old people like those.

We ate breakfast in a place we've never been before and it was DE-licious.
It was huge and came on a platter as big as a tray.
I took a picture of the food, but my computer said it couldn't recognize the format.
Probably because I called it breakfast and my computer thought it was food to feed a third world country.

Then we got flu, tetanus, pertuses, and pneumonia shots.

I wish I had cross out abilities. I would show you how many ways I spelled pertussis wrong and then write "whooping cough."

Doesn't this look like fun?

Lynn, where has time gone? Who would have ever thought we would enjoy Farmer's Markets, a big breakfast (unless it was on the way home from a night of drinking), and getting a flu shot. Amazing.

I also love those old folk's places. I shop a farmer's market all summer long. Support local people. Love, love a local cafe. Not sure about the drive thru flu shot though...I don't get them. I got a flu shot back in 1976 and had a horrible reaction to it, so no shot for me...

Really, they do it drive-by, that is so different!

Hi Lynn...

Hmmm...I'm definitely old! No doubt about it and I love Farmer's Markets and little cafes that will serve breakfast on a platter! Too cute, Lynn! Okay, I have never heard on anyone doing "drive-thru" flu shots! I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Eeeks!

I just read your sweet note, my friend and wanted to come by to say thank you! So glad that you stopped by for a visit!

Warmest autumn wishes,

There is nothing better than a big platter of breakfast and lots of good coffee to accompany it!

Good for you for getting those shots! I'm scheduled for my flu shot in early November. Pertussis isn't being recommended here, as yet, as the outbreak seems to be confined to your area. That can change fast, however, and if need be I'll also get that.
