The Burlap Harlots Strike Again!

That little window thingie came home with me!
               So many goodies!
                   Eye candy in every direction!

The theme was Alice In Wonderland and the vendors dressed accordingly.

I'll just be still and let you look...

Hi Doni!  Visit the News Cafe, everyone!

I Hope Those Regretsy People Don't Find Out It's Barnwood!

This is my new aquisition.  I got it at the Roses and Rust  Antiques and Craft Show earlier this month.  I have since been auditioning things to live in the shelves.  This is how it stands today.
I decided to put things I love in the shelves; excluding humans, of course.  Above is my representation of  the gardener in me.  I made the doll for a MEME when I first started blogging.  Her name is Penelope Printemps.
This shelf represents my love of fabrics and sewing. When Miss Martie was a little girl I sewed everything she wore.  Now I just make things.  I am working on a quilt, and probably will still be working on it when I leave this world. Oh! I must put a piece of it here. I found this little sewing machine at the Oregon Street Antique Place.  I had one EXACTLY like it when I was a little girl.
This shelf explains my email address.  Tap dancing with a group of people, making a rhythmic pounding clatter is the most fun you can have standing up.  The silver case is my stage make-up case.  We did Variety Shows to raise $ for our school district, under the direction of a genius named Tim Nelson, who had the ability to make silk purses out of sow's ears.
       Puppy dogs.  ((((Love))))   My angels.
Those Regretsy people would make fun of the barn wood shelf here.  For some reason barn wood sets them off!  I'm a-skert of those people!

The Burlap Harlot

          A craft Show Extrordinaire!
If you weren't here, this is a bit of what you missed

Monica worked her usual designing magic.
Typewriters always remind me of my childhood.  Mom is a writer so there was always one clacking or simply sitting on the dining room table waiting to be clacked.  She's computer savvy now so the clacking is softer.
See these beautifully aged shutters?  They came home with me.  I couldn't help it.  They said, "Lyyyyynnnn, can we go home with you?  I am a sucker for shutters.   and old books.   and room dividers.   and pitchers.  and Eiffel Towers.  and book shelves.    and sheet music.
If I had a spot for this, It would have come home with me, too.  Isn't it beautiful?  I stood in front of it for a long time thinking, "OK, now.  What can I give away to make room for this?"

This was a vintage suitcase all goodied up inside and displaying necklaces and such.

I should have bought this suitcase.  I am already regretting it.
