This is my new aquisition. I got it at the Roses and Rust Antiques and Craft Show earlier this month. I have since been auditioning things to live in the shelves. This is how it stands today.
I decided to put things I love in the shelves; excluding humans, of course. Above is my representation of the gardener in me. I made the doll for a MEME when I first started blogging. Her name is Penelope Printemps.
This shelf represents my love of fabrics and sewing. When Miss Martie was a little girl I sewed everything she wore. Now I just make things. I am working on a quilt, and probably will still be working on it when I leave this world. Oh! I must put a piece of it here. I found this little sewing machine at the Oregon Street Antique Place. I had one EXACTLY like it when I was a little girl.
This shelf explains my email address. Tap dancing with a group of people, making a rhythmic pounding clatter is the most fun you can have standing up. The silver case is my stage make-up case. We did Variety Shows to raise $ for our school district, under the direction of a genius named Tim Nelson, who had the ability to make silk purses out of sow's ears.
Puppy dogs. ((((Love)))) My angels.
Those Regretsy people would make fun of the barn wood shelf here. For some reason barn wood sets them off! I'm a-skert of those people!
