They Were Tired of Being Left Behind

We want to go!  We'll be good!!!!
                      They begged and begged, so...
We took them for a walk on Redding's famous Sundial Bridge.
It is brightly lighted at night.  As a matter of fact they have to turn it down during salmon spawning season.  It disturbs them.  I don't blame them.  I'd hate to have bright lights on me when I am spawning.
During Breast Cancer  Awareness Week they make the lights PINK!
These disks show where the bridge shadow will be at all times of the day.
                                  The Sacramento River.
I have this plant at home.  It just came back from it's winter sleep.  My plant is in a pot and is about the size of a basketball.  Guess I'm going to have to get a bigger pot!  That's my sister standing behind it.
We meet lots of new friends!

That is the good thing about dogs...they get people out and about. Sounds like a nice place to walk.
Is that plant a euphorbia?

We visit the Sundial bridge once in awhile. I especially love Turtle Bay's gardens. I miss that trial garden for new seed varieties there next to the bridge. You didn't need to pay admission to the park, to see that section of the gardens. I enjoy seeing what can actually grow in our climate and soil. That's also why I love the local garden tours. Some people have lots of time, and money to get their gardens to look so nice. I always come home with high hopes for mine, and then reality sets in... (smile).

Hi Lyn,

You have cute little puppies! They surely are our best friends.

Thank you for dropping by the other day.

Wishing you a happy and blessed week.
