Oh No!

The rain has been too much for my dogs too. One of the Cane Coros (Italian Mastiff) tore up their cushion.

What a mess!

This is the time the dog belongs to the -other person in a relationship and you say things like "look what your dog did!!!"

Over the last few years two of my siblings have become repeated host to foreign exchange students.

Since I have many high school age nieces and nephews they all spend a lot of time together. I have been present when some of these same type of conversations have transpired.

It just reenforces 1,) my joy that I no longer have teenagers in my home and 2.) how out of touch I really am with the world of young people.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our lives, and I am fairly certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.
