First I glued the corks to a twiggy wreath from Michael's.
Still a bit boring.
Add some grapes? Dumb looking.
Maybe it is the wrong color.
Nope. Still dumb looking.
How about I wrap a garland around it.
No. Too much plastic vine.
Too much. Too much.
What about this big bushy grape thingy...
No.
Looks Stupid.
What if I cut the bush apart and glue a part of it on.
Leaves are too big or something. I don't know.
OK. Smaller pieces . Smaller bunch of grapes.
It's going to take me years to get all of the glue gun glue strings off of this.
A bit of raffia makes just about everything look better.
On my front door. The E-I-E-I-O Wreath is going on the gate outside.

Love your wreath! It looks great where it is. :) Nancy
I did one a while ago. It is on my blog. Yours turned out great. Love it. Love wine. I have so many corks left over I could make a couple more. How sad is that. Lol .
sometimes it just takes a little playing around to get it right and bravo, it is!!!
I LOOOOOOOOVE this wreath! What a fantastic idea and it would totally go in my kitchen!!!!
Thanks for the inspiration!

corks! what a great way to use them up! and it encourages us to drink more wine! :)
Did you use hot glue? I have bags of corks and I would love to try making one. It's really nice.
Yes. Hot glue. Every time I walk by it I pick a few glue threads off.
I love this! I've done some cork projects too, but now I want to do this. You have saved me from the trial and error -- big thanks!
