Thanksgiving 2010: The People, The Food; The Thankful Game.

This year we gathered at Jen and Rob's Home;
"Scarlet's Run"
What you do when your oven bites the dust on T-giving Eve
The People.
The Food
The Thankful Game.
Everyone writes what they are thankful for on a strip of paper. Then Each person draws a paper out of the bowl.

Then everyone guesses who wrote the "Thankfuls." It can be touching or hilarious or naughty. Each year is different!
Oh, yeah, I brought the "White Trash Potatoes" which is a Holiday Staple!

There weren't any left over.
Never are.

Hi Lynn! I like the game you played, but I'm guessing you all had to carefully disguise your handwriting? I think everybody would guess mine, no matter how I'd try to alter it!.. I remember it gave me away on my Santa tags one year with one of the kids! (0; One year, I made homemade cards, one for each person present for Thanksgiving dinner. On the front of the card I wrote "I am thankful for Jane, or Tom, or whoever.. because..."... and then the card would get passed around the table and everyone would finish the sentence and sign it! It really was a great idea, and my guests loved getting their cards back, and reading them... and have saved them since!!!... Just an idea if you ever want to try it another year!! Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Wishing you and yours a great weekend too! ~tina
