Keeping My Merry Carbon Footprint Small

After the Christmas season ended last year, I went to "Jo-Anne's Fabrics and Oodles of Other Stuff" and got this fabric. My plan was to have this project done by the end of last January.
My new plan is to make gift bags to use over and over beginning this Christmas.
Thus eliminating a bit of the mess and waste of paper.
I have made one so far. Fifteen minutes. This tells me that I shall probably run people down to retrieve the bags after they open their gifts. Guess the bags will have to go to family members only. They understand me.

I plan to go to Hobby Lobby after the holidays and get some stuff....now if I actually make it or not is another story all together.

I think that's a great idea. Go for it!

I love that fabric, it's gorgeous. I think this is a great idea and just think of all the exercise you'll get chasing down those gift bags. It will definitely burn off any extra calories that sneak in during Christmas :) Kat

I did the same thing many years ago and we still have and use them every Christmas, it makes it so easy to wrap the gifts. and yes only to family members so we can re use them!
