I took these photos of my back "yard." You can only see the creek (River?) in this top one because there is so much foliage.
Below is a picture of my front yard. If it doesn't stop raining long enough to mow we won't be able to find Lexie in the weeds! I have forgotten. How many inches of rain do we have to get before we get classified as a rain forest? Our rainfall for this season is about 30 inches.
On a good note...
My lettuce is coming up!!!

Here on the frozen tundra we are just glad for sunshine and meltage. In fact, the meltage has gone so well I didn't see even one bit of s _ _ _ today.
We'll have to wait, however, a little longer for THAT much green!
I live in a rain forest. You are pretty much there. Our lawn guy cuts rain or shine every week. If we waited for the grass to be dry it would never get cut until July. Then he would use a scythe to cut it.
Sure does make us green though, it is moss and we wear it proudly.
