Meet Ruby, my granddog. She stayed with me this weekend. Lexie is thinking, "Good Lord. That dog is on my mama's desk and ooching into my bed. (I know this because I can read Lexie's mind.)
"Harumph."
Oh. My. God. She has taken my bed.
"Bitch."
"I have to share my toys, too?"
"OK. I'll play with you for a little while."
While Joe just watches for his daddy.

Oh the jealousy. Dogs just can't stand anyone encroaching on their mama's laps can they.
Dog sitting is a major undertaking for sure. They are always itching to go home.
Dogs are such great entertainment.
We are doing well. You all look like you are having fun and productive cropping.
Saturday we drove northeast to the "desert" or whatever that horribly hot dry area of CA is called. Valley Springs. In the T-Bird with HUGE trucks and things on MY side of the car ...thousands of them in Oakland, Tracy and Stockton areas. I lived. I rode on the back of an ATV holding on to my friend as she back toward the raven...I lived. I went to a barn sale in rattlesnake country and miraculously made it out alive again. There were goats, chickens, horses, zebras, some big wooly mammoth type thing, llamas, alpacas.
I am in awe of you country dwellers with animals, domestic and wild, on your land. Truly impressed. It exhausts me just tensing up for the experience. :-)
I love your post! I have neighbors and our dogs will stay over at each other's homes and we never think of getting the camera out when they do the cute little things. *psst... I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that reads my dog's mind - sometimes my husband gets tired of my version of the dog's commentary, though, so maybe I take it too far :)
That was so cute. I enjoyed all the pictures. Looks like they had some fun together.
Ruby looks so much like my little Razzy! Loved the pics of the dogs together, too fgunny, glad they seem to be getting along!
hugs Lynn
