I can see Mama...

...standing there on her skinny little legs, with her head bowed over this camera, my brothers and sister and I sitting there frozen, with bright smiles on our faces, until the flash bulb exploded in a burst of light leaving us blinded for a moment.
So I just had to buy it!  I found it at the Oregon Street Antique Mall.

'Member that, Mama?  'Member?  Imagine having to wait for a month to see the photographs!

This sounds like my father, always trying to get us to stop moving to take a picture. And then forgetting we took the film to the drugstore months before!!

Love your new treasure!

XO,
Jane

Nice memory. I kind of miss the printed photos. I worry too that the digital ones will all be lost some day.
Every time you look at that camera you will get a warm fuzzy feeling. Glad you bought it.
