Put a Bird On It!

My daughter, who knows exactly what I like, gave me this statue of Mother Nature for Christmas.  The three bottles with the birds on top, she sent me for Mother's Day.
I am auditioning places for them to be.  I am trying them out in several places.
They will tell me when I have found the perfect place.
This is a pretty good spot for them.
Probably not here.  Too busy.  (Did I just say that out loud?)
They look good here, but only for the warm months when there is no fire in the stove.
I love them, wherever they are!!

They are such pretty bottles, Lynn. I love them! Fill them with colored water and put them in front of a window.

Oh, I LOVE the beautiful bottles with the birds! What a nice daughter!.. As for things looking "too busy"? I never did like empty spaces, and being the "collector" that I am, well... "busy" is pretty much my style! (0; Have a great weekend, and a very Happy Mother's Day! ((hugs)) ~tina

Good idea, Pat. I'm thinking blue and green. Yellow in the little one?
Tina, I don't have many empty spaces. I call it texture!! when people call it clutter!

Those bottles are so cute. I just got myself 3 bottles that have crowns on the top. Yes I want to be a Queen! Have a wonderful Mother's Day.

You didn't ask me to vote, but I am anyway.

#1 choice - on the little round glass table

#2 choice - in front of the plant in the second picture from the top of this post.

Oh, and I do the same thing - - - "try" new things out in various places before I make the decision of where they will "live."

Hehehehe - - - in fact ONE of my fragments today is about pushing something OUT of one place to put something new in and etc etc until I got it all arranged with the "new" items all in place.

I always move stuff around until it finds a semi-permanent home. Isn't it nice when our kids find us something they like.
I will be showing a gift I have received from my eldest son soon.

I love that they were "auditioning" for location. You speak my language, sister.

Hi Lynn!

I LOVE anything with birds on it. Didn't that Portland show (forgot it's name) do an episode titled "Put A Bird On It", it was hilarious!
