The Ultimate Recycle

When I woke up this morning I had no idea I was going to do what I did today.
For some reason I kept this dress (and one more) after I retired.  I guess I thought I might need a dress that looked like a school marm dress just in case I...well, I don't know.

I liked wearing this dress because it was like a heavy T-shirt. Also long...very long.

I suddenly thought, "What am I keeping this dress for?"
So. I made it into pillow covers for my reading seat.  (AKA Lexie's sofa)  I had one more dress, also very long and close to the same color so I used it to cover the other pillow.
I am thinking of what to do with the bodices (tops) of these dresses.  hmmmm

You could make a couple of nice boobie pillows - - - just think of the conversation starters they would be!

Hi Lynn!

Great idea for pillows! They look like they were made for that sofa... lol.

I saw the other post of Lexie sitting behind it on her new lookout and she is just the cutiest!

Sorry I haven't been by for awhile, not since you shared your Mod Podged slathered wall hanging at my party. It seems it's all I can do to keep up with visiting and commenting on those few links every week. I have found that weeks go by before I visit some of my favorite blogs. One way to remind me to drop by is to share at my party... and I will be sure to visit :]

I did however take time this afternoon to read ALL the blog about sweet Leigh. So terribly sad... but she sure knew how to enjoy life. Many people go through a very long life and "live" less than she did.
