This Is How He Looked In High School

I took this picture of Tommy in my yearbook. He was one of my favorite guy friends.  He was funny.  Now he is a famous artist out there in the real world.  There is a beautiful book published with his story and many of his paintings.
This is the cover of his book.  I love the title.  Earthlings. Everyone who knows me knows that I like animals more than most people
His paintings are exquisite.  When I look at the photographs of them, I feel that perhaps the animal might jump out of the page and, well, do whatever animals do.
.
I took these pictures from the book that I bought.  They do not show the perfection and beauty of his paintings.  Not even close.  You can see every hair on every animal...
Or, every feather.   This is one of my favorites. I feel inspired to write a story about it.

Oh my a tornado!  Run Puppy, Run!

Ada is the town where we grew up.  I loved reading the account of his life in Ada.
But the pictures of the paintings are amazing.  I have the print of the Ada Cougar framed and on the wall of our office.  It is gorgeous.

Here is a recent picture of Tommy with another classmate.
Thanks, Jud!
You can order the book from the Oklahoma University Publishing people.  Just Google him.  How did we ever live without Google?
