This is Zelda She lives in her garden.
View from above.
I got this little side walk and most of the itty bitty items from Eileen Barry's shop,
Wild Thyme Gifts and Garden.
I love to visit her shop and find Fairies and plants .
...and to visit with Eileen, too!
My sister gave me the house at the end of the little stone walkway.
Zelda needs a little birdie.

Twenty-One In Paradise
This lucky kid got to have his twenty first birthday party in Hawaii.

Cold Winter Gardening
How can a planter look like this for three days and then, without any attention from me,
Go back to looking like this? Beats me!!!!

I Love My Kitchen In the Winter...
When the sun shines low from the southern hemisphere,
and warms it up in several ways.
Last night in this kitchen I made baked chicken breasts rolled in mayonnaise and then rolled in pecans that I had hammered. Rich asked me what I was making and I told him I was creating a new recipe. I heard him murmur, "Oh lord." Ha! It was delicious!

My Favorite Place In My Home
http://www.familytreesmaycontainnuts.com/2013/01/your-favorite-place.html
I am connecting with one of my favorite bloggers, Lori at Family Trees May Contain Nuts. I shall achieve this as soon as I figure out how to do it.
Sorry Lori.
This is my dining room. We gather here and sit around the table and talk about books and politics and embarrassing family memories, and god knows what else.

Every Place She Ever Lived
I made these refrigerator magnets for my sister, Barbie. My photography is not good.
Sorry about that.
Each magnet sports a map of a place she has lived in her life. They are much clearer in person. Why don't y'all run on over to her house. She lives in Folsom. Go on!
Are you still here? Go.

Beach Blanket Bingo
Since our extended family is meeting in Hawaii this winter for a 21st birthday party, I decided to make My NorCal granddaughter a big beach towel for Christmas. I used to make these for all my children.
I got this bag to wrap it in, and I covered a little wooden "H" with the same material,
that I used to appliqué her name on the terry cloth.
I added a few trinkets for her hair.
Now she can go in style, and, let me tell you, that girl has some STYLE!
