Little Puppy

Meet Sofia Alexis Guinn.
I accidentally bought her from a pet store when I went with my sister when she went to buy meal worms for her bearded dragon that she has in her classroom. I believe in rescuing dogs, but she looked like she needed rescuing, too! I think I'll call her Lexie. She weighs 2 pounds and 3 ounces and is just full of it, if you know what I mean!
In our family, we always name our dogs after naughty ladies. We have had Lolita, Scarlet, Jezebelle, Delilah, Olivia, Pinky, Mimi, Roxy, and Tinkerbell.

She is beautiful and I can see why you fell in love with her. But did yo know that by purchasing puppies from pet shops you are supporting puppy mills and keeping them in business? I'm not trying to be mean; I'm just trying to educate you in case you weren't aware of where she probably came from. Your little baby was lucky enough to escape the puppy mill and be in a loving home now, but her poor parents and many, many other breeding dogs will never be so lucky. I know this is coming across as a lecture and honestly, that is not how I'm meaning it to come across; just as a gentle reminder to everyone that pounds, shelters, and rescue groups are wonderful places to adopt from. Just sign me a concerned pet lover
