Time Is A Cruel Friend

Tell me. How did two people who looked like this---------

Look like this twenty or twenty-five years later.
Sucks.

These are my paternal grandparents.

I don't stand a freakin' chance.

Oh boy. I'm with you on this one. I look at my grandparents and parents and think...this is what I'm headed for!

I here for you. My Mom is retired bored and visits me in my office 2 or 3 times a weeks wearing the most amazingly awful combination of clothes, shoes and perfumes.

I look at her with fear.

I took out a photo album recently and saw a photo of myself when I was 32. I didn't know who I was at first!
I think that is why the eyes go as we age...that way the image in the mirror doesn't look too bad..lol

You're looking at it the wrong way!!! I look at them in the second picture and see two lovely people with LOTS of stories to tell, and better hearts for all of their experiences.

Looks are superficial - - - hearts are better every single time.

Hang in there, I'm pulling for you - - - we're all in this together!

Our kids were over last night and were going through pictures. I didn't even want to see the pictures of me in my 20's & 30's.
I know that change is good but not when it comes to our looks!
