I wanted to get within the 1000 feet but nobody else did.  All of the fish in the lake are lurking safely within that 1000 foot area.  Thank you Al Kida for this. (I know, I know, *alqaeda*)

Good Morning, Yeah, they yell at you with loud speakers if you've gotten within the boundries. I loved being able to park on the dam to take in the view. Last time we were out walking on the dam it started raining hard and we were soaked by the time we reached the car. Your photos are beautiful, and the lunch looks delicious. I think I need to upgrade from the usual sandwiches once in awhile. Anyway, Hello from the coast... where it's been heavy drizzle for two days now.
It will be nice to get home later this week to spend some time back out on the lake. Take care.

Now we cannot be satisfied with the meager lunch plans I had. Got to go to Whole Foods and stock up. I was looking and told Jim to look. He said, "Now you've infected me!"

And BTW, I found my password so I can comment at last!

I can only guess that the reference is because you can't go closer due to terrorist threats?
My eyes would have never left the food and drink

Hi Lynn...

Ohhh...what fun! What I would do...to spend a little time boating and fishing at a lake right now! Hehe! Looks like you really had a "feast" as well! Mmmm!!! So sorry that you weren't able to fish at the 1,000 ft. area...but looks like you had a great time anyway!

I just wanted to come by to say thank you for stopping by and taking a peek at my tablescape this week, my friend! I sure appreciated your sweet note!!!

Warmest summery wishes,
Chari
