I love GreatDanes! My Jackie is a blue merle with long hair, mostly black. He's a Latvian Wolfhound (sort-of, Doc says greyhound and Gordon setter). His tail hair is really long and floats like a flag.
Isn't it amazing that even with such a huge difference in size animals still make friends and can learn to trust each other? I have had teeny kittens take on a German Shepherd here in my home and have watched the dog back down! Wish more human beings had the inter-personal traits and reactions as the gentle animals that surround us each day.
