The Maflingo Is In The Aminal Hostible

I have been on hospital duty. My sweet little mama (84) has pneumonia.
If anyone wondered where I got my ass-kickin' ways, there is no need to wonder now.
She is giving them fits. (Deserving fits, I must say.)

I have a great picture but I'm away from my blogging maching so I can't how to do it. I'll add it later.

My title comes from my grand daughter. We loved to say, "Rachie, say, 'The flamingo is in the animal hospital.'" just to hear her say the above.

Sorry that your mom is ill, hope she keeps giving them hell! Will keep her in my prayers. Kathy (the story about your grandaughter is precious)

It is the ones like her that give me hope for my senior years. Give 'em hell.
One time when our kids stayed with my inlaws our youngest who was about 2 1/2 kept asking his grandma for "gopacos" "gopacos" Drove her crazy for a week. We finally figured out when we got back he had been asking to watch Ghostbusters on t.v. Who knew?

Having family with you in the hospital really helps recovery--when my mother went in after she broke her hip, I stayed with her the entire week. Good thing, too, since I constantly had to bug them to do stuff which she would have been unable to do had she been alone. So I didn't feel bad at all when they had to deal with her and she was a complete bee-atch!

I was just wondering what you were up to - thinking exotic vacation. Taking care of mom is more rewarding - hope she has a great recovery sounds like she has more kickass years left in her.

Hope your mom recovers soon.

And I would make your grand daughter say that all the time...so cute! Maflingo!
