This is Jack. One Christmas he received this item, shown in the picture. I forgot what it is called, but it is a wonderful teaching tool. The child can touch the little wand on any word and the man who lives in the book will read the word aloud.
Can I tell you how much fun his uncle had with this device? He picked words from around the book and touched them in sequence to make the book man say the most horrid, vile, disgusting things.
Then everyone would fall over on each other laughing.
Except for me.
Because I am above all of that.
Oh. I forgot. You already know me.

Just think what he could do with a Dick and Jane book! Laughing!
I'm cracking up picturing all the adults in the room rolling on the floor laughing. The poor kid probably just wanted to get his book back from those crazy people! And I had the same thought as Nancy, glad this wasn't a Dick and Jane book. Have a great weekend. Kathy
Ah, these immature men. Of COURSE we are above all that.
Could it have been a "Leap Frog Pad?"
The only thing worse if when we had all the alphabet letters on our fridges.
You had to scan the fridge door every time you had someone over in case there was something written out with the letters that was, shall we say "inappropriate".
haha...I would totally be messing with that.
Horrid? Vile? :-)
That's it!
A leap Frog!!
