It All Started When I was Eight
I just found this at the Oregon Street Antique Mall in Redding. I had one when I was a little girl. It probably cost a lot less than $60.00 then.

That is so cool! We used to have one of those, and it was screwed onto a desk top, which you could flip over and hide in a big compartment underneath. I think my oldest sister inherited it or something, but I remember it! :)
It's awesome. I have one in a cabinet that belonged to my grandfather who was a tailor.
This one is a toy. Only about 8" tall.
I have a full size one that is pedal powered. My grandmother bought it 110 years ago.
