So. Has anyone out there besides me had the urge to print out your whole blog and put it into a book or something you can hold in your hand? It's not that I don't trust my computer to take care of it. I guess I am simply tactile. Would that cause my words to cease to be a blog and turn it into a klog?
This is a book I am putting together for my newspaper articles. Of course they are in my computer too.

I always think about putting my blog into book. When I'm feeling ambitious and organized I think about putting each year's posts into one book. Have you ever read a blog-turned-book? It's a very different reading experience on paper than on the computer screen. If you do this, I'd like to hear about how it went.
Happy 4th of July!
Yep, me too. It has become like a living scrapbook for me! Have a wonderful Independence Day!
Blessings~LillySue
I hadn't thought of it Lynn but I may just do that now. I am not a writer like you mine is more photos of my work, but I love it, there could be a place in the book to have all the comments left too as mine is a pop up window like yours.
I love it... thanks for giving me something else to do LOL
Yes Lynn, I think about it all the time. There is a website that will do just that but if your blog is photo intensive it may take more than one book and they are fairly pricey. I think I will just begin print mine bit by bit and put the posts I love into a journal type book. I love Lizzie's idea of each year's posts as a separate book too. I can't remember the website but I am sure there is more than one that will do this for you and bind it.
Yes! I'll get around to it...
Like backing up the photos...
And music...
Yard work...
Exercise...
Can I change my answer?
I've often wondered if I had a computer crash, would I lose my entire blog? Or, would it still be in Blogger and I could retrieve it?
I'm pretty sure I would have a complete nervous breakdown if I lost it !!!:(
I've done it. I went through Blurb.com and had one printed of my first year of blog posts. They do a fabulous job! It is amazing holding it in your hand. It doesn't look exactly like your blog because it is just the posts and not the blog background, but it is an amazing memory. I got mine in hardcover! By the way, you download the editing tools, etc. and then you have all the time you want to arrange each page. I am sending a copy to my parents, too. I'm going to do one for each year of the blog.
I was going to mention the online books you can order, but you've heard that in the other comments. My mom is a faithful reader but doesn't have a computer... she makes me print each post for her and she keeps it in a binder.
Silly.
I did copy all of my posts, but now what do I do with them? I love the cover of your book!!! Thanks for the nudge> >
Sometimes, sometimes not.
I have not thought of doing that with my blog. But I have with another online experience that has been near and dear to my heart.
If blogger crashed I think we all would be very sad. Hmmm now you got me thinking.
What a great idea. Instead of a klog though I would call it a boog.
I haven't thought about that as yet..I have a feeling it would be very expensive, especially since I put a lot of photos in my posts.
But then again it would be sad to lose it all considering all the time I've put into it....hmmm...you made me think!
I like your collage cover for your book. What newspaper do you write for Lynn? I'd LOVE to read your articles..are they online?
