Thanks, Miss "Aunt of 14" who is as honest as they come.
Now I must post some honest things about me.
Um...
I did not know I liked gardening until I was 40.
I love bricks. I don't know why.
I loved Being a mother, and honestly thought (still do) of my children as my friends.
I have seen a ghost.
I hear music at all times, giving my life a sound track.
Once I gave a spelling test to my third graders and sang a song for every word, instead of a sentence.

Hi Lynn! I liked what you said about being a Mom! I feel the same way! I think it's important to be a Parent first, of course, but a friend TOO! My own mother was a firm believer she couldn't be a friend at ALL, and to this day, I fail to see the good it did ANYONE... But I do believe it has at LEAST lead me to appreciate the relationship I have with my OWN kids even MORE!.. As for the music you speak of, I think it would be funny to actually POST a soundtrack of songs for the biggest chapters of your life!.. Just the titles.. not a bunch of YouTubes!!.. Just start with some kind of booming symphony for when you were born... maybe some Alanis Morrisette (0; for when you divorced.. etc., etc.!! ~tina
Singing the spelling test...you are awesome.
If I sang to them I am sure some parents would be beating down the principal's door to lodge their complaints. Yes it is that bad.
Nice to get to know a little more about you. I too think I have seen a ghost but he disappeared when I started singing.
I hear music all the time, too! I'm glad to know I am not the only one! Congratulations on your award - well-deserved, I might add.
Congratulations and hooray!
i am crazy for brick, too, and there is almost NONE of it where i live! weird. maybe that is why i like it so much?
and you have seen a ghost?!?! yeeikes!
Sending an email message. Cool answers, btw.
What a fun post! I taught elementary school for 30 years. Loved the one about singing the spelling test. ~ Sarah
