From one Lynn to another.. I love it!!! Mine is not quite as bad but getting there. I have been trying to tidy up at least my work area once I am finished something, this way it keeps stuff from getting on my new project too. If I am going to be sewing I clear off the ironing board and table get's wiped. I too like things in plain view and do just what you said, get it out so you remember, then it seems to become part of the scenery after a while LOL Great post and thank you so much for you lovely comment on my blog :)
